Registration & Eligibility
- No onsite registration. Online registration closes at 8:00 AM Pacific Time on August 27, 2026.
- Payment: Zelle or PayPal to learningpawn@gmail.com.
- Players: Please bring your own chess set and chess clock.
Refunds and Changes
- Refund deadline: Full refund minus a $10 processing fee if requested by 11:59 PM on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
- No refunds after pairings/event start: No refunds for withdrawals requested after 6:00 PM on Friday, August 28, 2026, or once Round 1 pairings are posted, whichever is earlier. No refunds for no-shows or players who withdraw after the tournament begins.

Policies
- Default time (forfeit): 30 minutes after the scheduled start.
- Byes: Half-point byes must be requested before Round 2 begins and are subject to section rules.
- Device policy: Phones and smartwatches must be turned off and stored; tournament rules will be enforced.
