Registration & Eligibility
- No onsite paper registration. You must submit the online form before 8:00 AM (PT), Saturday, January 31, 2026.
- Payment: Zelle/PayPal to learningpawn@gmail.com. (You may also choose On-site and pay at check-in.)
- Players: Please bring your own chess set and chess clock.
Refunds and Changes
- Refund deadline: Full refund minus a $10 processing fee if requested by 11:59 PM (PT), Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
- No refunds after pairings / event start: No refunds for withdrawals requested after 6:00 PM (PT), Friday, January 30, 2026, or once Round 1 pairings are posted (whichever is earlier). No refunds for no-shows or for players who withdraw after the tournament starts.

Policies
- Default time (forfeit): 30 minutes after scheduled start.
- Byes: ½-point byes Rounds 1–5; must request before Round 2 starts.
- Device policy: USCF rules enforced (phones/smartwatches off & stored; penalties may apply).
