Our Club
We are a premier chess organization in Sacramento, USA. We host tournaments throughout the year sanctioned by the USCF (United States Chess Federation) and FIDE (Federation Internationale de Echecs). Our tournaments are open to players of all ages and skill levels, so whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned tournament veteran, we have a tournament that’s right for you. In addition to our tournaments, we also offer a variety of instructional materials and coaching services to help you improve your chess skills. Whatever your level of play may be, LEARNING PAWN has something to offer you!
Our Goals
Learning Pawn runs monthly chess events such as USCF tournaments, special events, lectures, classes, and weekend tournaments. Learning Pawn is constantly making efforts to create partnerships with local and national educational programs to further the expansion of chess not only locally but nationally.
