Registration & Eligibility
Blitz Open: Friday, September 25, 2026. Open to all players.
- No onsite registration. Online only through September 25, 2026.
- Payment: Zelle/PayPal — learningpawn@gmail.com.
- Players: Please bring your own chess set and chess clock.
Refunds And Changes
- Refund deadline: Full refund minus a $10 processing fee if requested by 11:59 PM, Thursday, September 24, 2026.
- No refunds after pairings / event start: No refunds for withdrawals requested after 6:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2026, or once Round 1 pairings are posted, whichever is earlier. No refunds for no-shows or for players who withdraw after the tournament starts.

Policies
- Default time (forfeit): 30 minutes after scheduled start.
- Byes: ½-point byes Rounds 1–5; must request before Round 2 starts.
- Device policy: Phones/smartwatches must be off and stored; tournament rules enforced.
